Story: A tired, middle-aged father named Luis and his young son, Esteban, are on a quest through the Moroccan desert. They are looking for Luis’s daughter and Esteban’s sister, who has been missing for months after attending a desert rave. As they search, they are pulled into the world of nomadic ravers who are also seeking a fabled party further into the desert. The trip takes an existential turn as global conflict closes in, testing the limits of the characters physically and psychologically. The film’s title refers to the mythical Islamic bridge that separates heaven from hell.
