Download Following 2024 – Review:-

A time killer of a movie, one that feels derivative of other dramas but then again, spirals in ways that seem uniquely Korean. It touches on some obvious topical things like the facade of social media and the misuse of camera technology to invade privacy, but for the latter, I was a little put off by how the impact of the main character’s “peeping” was minimal, as if downplaying it, until it blew up in his face. I didn’t really get a sense for how disturbing his actions were, final comments in the film notwithstanding. Meanwhile it was one dramatic moment or twist after another, which by the final act got to be too much for me, and I found myself less and less invested. Not terrible, but just average.
