Sherdil 2022 – Review:-

It’s Pankaj’s movie all the way. His screen space might be more than 90% in the movie. He delivered justice to this role as if he is born to do this completely and without qualification. The story was quite simple and screenplaying that for almost 2 hours looks a bit stretched and boring. Sayani Gupta’s dialogue delivery clearly showed that she was cast mistakenly or maybe, due to the budget issues. A better female cast who could speak Hindi in Bhojpuri accent with eloquence would help the movie. The conversations between Pankaj and Neeraj Kabi in the jungle were avowedly dead on target. The religions, castes, different practices but all melt down into nothingness at the end has been portrayed on screen mindblowingly unless the delicate sentiments of few people get hurt. A good one time watch movie that stresses your patience to discontinue with the slow screenplay but deal with it as the end is quite surprising.
