Plot: Satya and her brother Ankur orphans since childhood are taken care by their distant relatives Mehtani’s.Years later Satya has joined their business and is the main pillar of their company.Ankur is a reserved guy but Satya does not liked his closeness to Mehtani’s son Kabir.Ankur wants a career in music and travels to Hanshi Dao with Kabir for a business trip.Here Kabir gets arrested for position of drugs while Ankur is also taken in custody but Ankur faces the brunt and Kabir is left free.Satya travels to Hanshi Dao to take matters in her hand but no lawyer is willing to touch the case as the law of country has only death penalty for possessing drugs.Satya meets former criminal Bhatia and former officer Muthu and plan Ankur’s escape.But before she can disclose it to Ankur he along with his jail-mates plan their escape.

Jigra 2024 – Review:-

Jigra is not your usual go to movie on weekends, it is something unique and special. The BGM, acting and screenplay is outstanding. Alia Bhatt shines in the gripping prison break story while Vedang promises to be one for the future. The supporting cast is amazing and it will keep you on your toes. It has moments where you will be uncomfortable and if you empathize with the character’s POV then you will definitely able to understand what she is going through. It is off beat but filled with massy dialogues and the fictional country created is well justified and shown in the movie. The music fits what is happening in the movie for most of the time but apart from one or two scenes here and there should be a great watch if you want to watch something new.
