One of the best comedies I’ve seen in recent times. I was laughing throughout the movie. Using science fiction elements they’ve turned a usual Tamil gangster story into a spoof of all the familiar tropes without losing the cool action that comes with it. There are definitely plot holes and logic issues with the time-traveling phone but the movie doesn’t give you much time to think about it because it just wants to be an out-and-out entertainer more than anything. SJ Surya is the MVP here. Even though Vishal also did pretty great with his dual roles, SJ Surya’s double role as father and son carried the movie. Anyone else would have ruined the whole movie. He deserves all the praise for making all the craziness of the movie work.
